I booked 3 treatments with the spa which was a 50 min deep massage , Brazilian wax, and olive oil body scrub. The massage was not deep and the more I asked the therapist to adjust the pressure the more frustrated he got so after 20 mis I stopped him. I went to the front dest to complain but the lady told me that that was just their technique . At that point I thought it was best to just move on to the next service .So the I proceed to go in the room for wax and scrub . When she began to wax me she started off fine until the wax started to become too hot . I tried to explain but she was not really understanding due to the language barrier so she kept going . I then learned that she was very inexperienced because she was putting wax on places down there that are for one too sensitive for hot wax and for 2 don't grow hair . When she was done there was so much residual wax that my private part was glued together . I finished with her in pain but still finished the scrub . When done I was sore and I know thats not normal so I went back to management . After explaining the situation I was told I had to wait for approval to take it off my bill. Once management came they treated me as if I was lying to get a free service and still charged me a day spa fee. The part that took the cake is that I was missing skin and bleeding on my private fo 2 days . I'm still on the fence of how to handle the situation but I definitely felt discriminated against because I am African American and Im still in pain days later. By far the worst experience of my entire life
