This place is horrible to work at. They barely do the legal minimum on safety issues. They were uncompliant for the fire marshal for several violations (they did work on getting those fixed but not ever preventative). The hourly labor gets screwed. They have to come in 45 min early UNPAID to even have work for the day. It’s not unusual for them to short their paychecks or not paid for staying past the end of the shift to finish up. As a full time employee this has been the worst employer I’ve ever had. Weekend work is mandatory but they don’t tell you that in the interview. The management doesn’t give you a schedule ahead of time to even plan. There is zero career development training and you are viewed as disposable. Most full time employees are at the place under 2 years as they are get a better job or get laid off and/or fired. They expect you to give them 2 weeks notice on a doctor’s appointment but give less than a day notice if they need you to work the weekend. I wouldn’t recommend working here unless it is your last resort. And frankly that’s how the management treats it. It’s just a stop gap until you work for a real company that focuses on long term goals and not monthly or quarterly ones. It’s no wonder why they lost a 1/3 of their orders in the past year. If you are an hourly worker just apply at amazon or McDonald’s as they both pay more and will treat you better.
