Any semblance of vocal fry is not conducive to great customer service, so this office might research speech therapy or coaching. It might work for leasing consultants, but not for an insurance company needing to retain loyal clientele. Making an effort to at least convey a genuine sense of concern or care for the client, particularly over the phone, can go a long way. Slow down, and don’t sound so anxious to get rid of people when they contact you. Care about your clients, be sensitive to their individual needs, and you will do better in the long run. Namaste.
