If I could give this agency no stars I would. They are absolutely horrible. We have had our insurance with Allstate for 40 years, the majority of it was with Roy Mankin. He sold to Kathy Wells and it has gone downhill ever since! First, we purchased a business in January of this year. Called them several times asking for business and workman's comp insurance. Never received a call back so we went to the office to inquire. Kathryn Weill's response was a short giggle and I quote "I dropped the ball on that one".I called today, January 28, 2018 asking about our two homes, three vehicles and an RV that we have insured with her. An Albert Villa informed me that I only had one home insured. I was stunned. Said he had no record of another home. We have had that home insured since 2014 when it was purchased. He said he had no record of a second home insured. My husband went to the office and he admitted that he did find the second home (on easy pay as all my policies are on easy pay) but the second home wasn't renews. We have easy pay so we wouldn't have to renew. As I said, all of my policies are on easy pay, so I guess I should be grateful that they only let one lapse. It had been uninsured since May of this year. I am so very thankful that nothing happened to the home during that time!But then Mr. Villa said we couldn't renew the policy because they had let it lapse and we would have to go get someone, I can only assume a substandard insurance agency, to insure the home and then come back in two months and they could get us insurance again.I immediately called Allstate's Corporate Office and because we had been with them for 40 years and in excellent standing, they immediately insured the home. It was $300 cheaper than this Kathryn Wells had been charging me for the year and was increased by more than $50,000 in value. While I was speaking with the Corporate Office, Kathryn Wells called my husband trying to get us to go with another insurance that she deals with and point blank told us that Allstate Corporate Office would not be able to help us.Well they did! And I might add, they changed all of our policies to an agency in Las Vegas!I will be writing a letter to Allstate Corporate Office and any Insurance Board I can find to complain. I'm just stunned that they would do this to an elderly couple! Beware!
