Avoid this place like the plague. I had a terrible experience here when their agent added a fake car that I’ve never owned to my account in order to give me an artificially low rate for a multiple vehicle discount. It was kicked back by their underwriting after a couple months and my price jumped up which I didn’t notice or expect since I always pay my premium in full for 6 months and thought it was good. This caused them to cancel my insurance and when I called they reinstated it and informed me the original agent had been fired but I was still on the hook for the extra amount. This btw was after calling at least 10 times over a 2 week period with no results and even stopping in their location without results, the staff seemed very confused and informed me everyone was “new” so they didn’t know what was going on. Eventually got a hold of Tom himself at which point he said I still had to pay the extra since their former employee gave me an invalid quote. At that point I didn’t renew my auto insurance with them and found out about 6 months later that I was charged an extra $500 or so on my homeowners insurance (also with Allstate) since I no longer had a vehicle insured with them for the entire year. All in the Becker agency cost me hours of my time dealing with this and probably about $800 total above my quoted rates. That’s with no claims during he period and paying my premium in full up front! I’d hate to see what happens when you have an actual claim with them!! They honestly ruined my opinion of Allstate although it may just be his particular agency, I can’t speak to others but avoid this one. If he replies denying this review don’t believe it. I literally have the voicemails saved where they’re discussing the ghost car. Very shady...
