Unbelievable horrible experience. To have a water line break in your home and have the adjuster the insurance agent the office for complaints everybody try to make it so it falls into the category of uncover a bubble and deny your claim when the adjuster didn't even go to find out what had really happened all this company did was push it to a denied claim and fought to keep it there so they wouldn't have to pay out a legitimate claim. The amount of disrespect that runs rampant through this company is pathetic. All they care about is their bottom line. And it was evident by the three licensed professionals that all stated that it was a ruptured line that cause damage and that is covered but because it was contained in a shower and allowed for it to not be noticed right away this company will not pay for the damages even though it's covered. I wouldn't have these people cover my daughter's bicycle because they would purposely try to find a reason not to pay any claim Beyond pathetic

Shelly has been very helpful in our changing our insurance from being a home owner to a renter of an apartment. Any time I contact her office, she communicates back to me in a responsive manner.

They will send you a letter in the mail saying your house insurance will only cost $300 a year. Then you call in and the REAL price is 4 times higher like $1200. Bait and switch basically. They will keep sending you junk mail. Beware, honestly she doesn't care about you as homeowner you are just a number on a piece of paper. How much money does her agency waste on postage stamps?

I have used Allstate for many years for all of my insurance purposes. I moved to the Baraboo area last year and had to find a new agent. I am very please with Shelly and her office in Baraboo. I presume it is the same service in Portage. I recently added my girlfriend and her daughter to my policy and saved ourselves about 1000 dollars per year on insurance cost. Furthermore, I recently went to the office to turn in some paperwork and the lady at the front desk, Coleen, greeted me by name! I had only been in the store one time previously, which was several months earlier and she remembered my name. I am impressed with that kind of service! Thanks Coleen for such personal service!
