Not accurate and poor service. I had my 2017 taxes done there. I provided all the information and paperwork. When I went to pick up my completed taxes, I was handed a folder, I paid a 175$ fee and was told I was going to receive a refund....several weeks later I got a letter in the mail from the IRS informing me my taxes were not done correctly. I contacted APA and they told me to wait for another letter from the IRS. A few more weeks and I got another letter from the IRS saying I had to pay about 600$ by the following week. I want a refund. APA did my taxes incorrectly, collected my 175$ fee without going over anything with me, and than let the IRS correct their mistake.Hummm maybe I should start charging people to do their taxes and let the IRS fix all my mistakes.

I was a new client, last minute getting my taxes done and they fit me in! The first thing I noticed was how beautiful the offices were. Not something that is super important but impressive nonetheless. The second thing I noticed was the client/accountant interaction. I saw a young man come out, greet an elderly woman and chat with her. It was so friendly and welcoming at a time that is stressful (at least for me) and he was just another partner in the practice. Greeted her by name, assured her she was in good hands with a colleague of his and was just generally nice. My appointment was at 9am and I went back right at 9am! I was lucky to work with Jason and he was quick, efficient and very personable to work with! He made me feel very comfortable and took care of all the necessary paperwork that usually stresses me out! I'm certainly going to use them again (before April 15th next time!) and I highly recommend their service, friendly staff and company as a whole!

I would give negative stars if possible. Aside from still waiting for resolution from Will Torres, I have spent three times the effort (15 hours so far) than it would have taken to do my taxes myself. Will Torres handled my taxes and unfortunately this has been the worst experience I have ever had with taxes. Poor ServiceWill Torres will let you know he's busy and never did any preparation prior to our visits. He has consistently over promised and under delivered. During each visit, he would let me know what else he needed, which required me to make a return visit. It was clear he never considered I was also busy and repeated trips were avoidable and time consuming. After my taxes were paid and filed, I received a letter from PA Dept of Revenue stating they would not accept as filed. I immediately called and tried to get support. After my initial call and email with information he needed, I never heard back. I sent emails weekly asking for updates that also went unanswered. During the third week of no response, I called and they were terse and said they would let me know when they had time to fix it. A few days latter, I called and insisted on an in person visit. The staff was short with me and gave me the impression I was a bother. Unable to get any assistance, I was forced to redo both Federal and State taxes to compare in attempt to understand what was wrong.During the last visit, Will again let me know that he needed more information (4th time). He said he would make the correction that day or next. I sent that information via email as soon as I got home from that visit to Linda Godschall asking for confirmation that is was received and satisfied what he needed. I did not receive a response and sent follow-up emails for the next two days. Again I received no response, so I called and asked for information. They said it was received but they could not tell me when it might be completed. I let them know I will need to call daily and wait (hopeful) it will be corrected by the upcoming deadline to avoid fees and penalties. At this point I am still waiting.

Friendly, HOWEVER expensive.... my preparer incorrectly entered our checking account number which caused our financial institution to kick back our return. I reached out to the person with whom we dealt with and he didn't even have the common curiosity to respond as a message with left via email. The IRS will now be issuing a paper check which will take 5 weeks to receive. Be sure to review your account information guys! For complicated tax returns and you need an accountant see these guys but double and triple check your papers.

Ms. Sweet 1 star, really! Did someone piss in your Cherrios that day or are you always so grumpy? You must be a real joy to work with! I've been using ABA for my taxes for about 30+ years now. I have nothing but good to say about them! Tell that to your Sikorsky co-workers!
