Never had such a rude person talking to me. I was calling because I had cancelled my subscription which the person delivering my paper acknowedged because the delivery stopped. However I noticed I was still being charged a fee for 3 months. When I called to explain the billing problem the man I talked to said my account was open and when I tried to explain why it wasn't and everyone on my end must have taken care of it locally because the delivery stopped. He insisted that wasn't true because his computer showed my account was open. When I asked to talk to his supervisor he said "no". Your account is open and if you want to cancel it I can take care of that. I said, "Can you talk to my my delivery person?" He said, "I'm in Tennessee, I can't talk to your delivery person." I have never had such a rude person and apparently I wasn't going to get to talk to anyone but him. No local phone number on their local site. I have been a customer for over 50 years, but no more.
