Architecturally and aesthetically this is a beautiful building. Nice, comfortable, and clean and has multiple study rooms. My 5 year old had a blast in the Lego room in the children’s section. Great way to pass the time with kiddos.

The maintenance lady with short hair is a racist she discriminates against everyone she deems in her mind "she recently won the lottery" but she now decides who not worth being allowed in the "city's library" likes if it her own property she pour Pine-Sol® in all the cigarette smoke holders cause she knows homeless smoke them so she trys to poison them no "respect for human life" dont listen to her lies she said she cleans them cause they "stink" she also believe most people who enter the library can't even "read" we need new staff working with our children and city public personal views of hers will hurt good people p.s we can read and we can complain maybe your not as bright as you think

Everything about this place is wonderful, but the hours are difficult for students to work with. In my opinion, closing at 6 is way too early for students to actually utilize this library. College campuses often have locations for studying like this, but sadly, not Artesia.
