I needed to redo my website as it was 6 years old, stale and I wasn’t able to update any content. I also wanted a cleaner more modern looking website that better represented what my business is about which is removing the clutter to create time and space in your life.I had engaged two other website designers before coming to Sam at Bad Hat Harry. They were unable to grasp the concept behind my business and the look I was trying to achieve with my website and why I wanted that particular feel for my website. After a 30 minute discussion with Sam she just got it! Sam understood what I was trying to achieve and why it was important to me and my business. She also had a fantastic understanding of who my core client base was and what I would need to do to make my website both appealing and functional for potential clients.To say I am happy is an understatement. The website is just what I was hoping for and more. I help people declutter and organise their homes and having a website full of “stuff” is anti to what I am about. So having a functional, informative, appealing and importantly for me a clutter free website is awesome.I have had several inquires through the website already and the feedback from clients has been great. “Uncluttered and easy to navigate”, “Has just the right amount of information without being overwhelming” “Restful” are just some of the feedback I received.I love that I can change things myself though I am a bit scared. The cheat sheet Sam did is great and easy to follow. I have changed one thing already and it worked a treat so who knows what’s next! That said, Sam is happy to do some things for me to ensure continuity which again is important to me.I have already recommended Sam to someone else and the feedback I received from him after just one chat with Sam was great. He like me had used others and they just couldn’t get it right. I always recommend Bat Hat Harry to friends and colleagues. Sam is so easy to work with and produces amazing work. It’s fabulous having someone of this calibre locally on the Coffs Coast. I came to Bad Hat Harry with a business idea and they basically turned a sniff of an idea into a fully-fledged brand. They not only achieved everything I laid out in the brief (and more) but really captured in the branding the essence of what I wanted to deliver – a joyful, slightly retro yet very Australian take on the ukulele craze to suit a range of markets. I had worked with Bad Hat Harry on the Save Sawtell Cinema campaign and was so impressed by their work that I wanted to work with them again.Bad Hat Harry presented a range of designs for the Uko Ono brand – all of which were on point, so the only difficulty was in selecting just one. They then prepared a brand portfolio which included logo applications, website and social media templates plus a range of product-specific templates. I still get positive feedback on my brand and products – it’s been a real driver in securing new business and building relationships with clients and has definitely put Uko Ono on the map. The Coffs Coast Safety Network was newly formed and required branding that would be visually appealing and memorable so that we could build our membership quickly. We needed a competitive price for the branding due to being a not-for-profit organisation and we wanted branding that would reflect the region that we cover.We tried a lot of other options via the internet, looking for a low cost or free option that we could adapt for our use, however the process proved to be very frustrating and the cost of developing the branding this way was not going to deliver a product that we were happy with. We explained what we wanted to Bat Hat Harry and the early concepts that were sent back in a matter of hours were so far above what we had achieved before that it was easy to make the decision.Sam is fantastic at helping us to make the most of the branding – she took care of so many details that we didn’t even know we had to think about! She has also built us a website which is more functional and visually appealing than anything we could have developed ourselves at significantly less cost than competitors.We now have a range of wonderfully branded resources – including the website, our Facebook page, letterheads, marketing material, email templates and Powerpoint presentations. Our on line presence is growing and our membership is increasing rapidly.I would absolutely recommend Bad Hat Harry. I thought having work done by a Graphic Designer would be astronomical in price. I wanted the quality product and someone to guide me with what was possible and interested in my business ideas and my future business growth but didn’t have the startup funds to outlay a fortune. I thought it would cost a lot more to have such a professional look and have all my work done to this level… but it was definitely affordable. It saved me time and in a few emails, Bad Hat Harry had my logo created (which I chose from a choice of designs) and my business cards designed and printed. I got a fantastic logo, which I am always receiving positive comments on, It is a great foundation. It has given me a lot of confidence to move forward.
