You're probably wondering what it is exactly that you'll be doing working for this company. This is a cutthroat sales job. All you're doing is getting strangers to sign up for/purchase services or goods through whichever business Barton Consulting partners up with. Even if you like to bulls**t and coerce people, this is a crappy job with nothing to offer. Low pay, non-existent benefits, and many hours invested with little to show for it. Even if you move up in the ranks, you may find it's not what you expected it to be. I was fortunate to have learned the easy way and interact with someone who invested time and energy into this place, though I did invest a little of my own into it because of my own prior desperation.A business that respects its employees and clientele doesn't use bait-and-switch techniques to entice potential new hires; they let their pay and benefits speak for themselves. These Trump-esque tactics, with flowery, elaborate language the length of an essay that tells you nothing you need to know are not exclusive to this company, however. Just be watchful of who your potential employer is, and their transparency - or lack thereof...
