My wife always insists on experiencing 'life amongst the locals' when we travel, so I was a little bemused when our cab dropped us at the gate to a lemon grove. This place is literally a working lemon grove, in which the owners have their home, and let out a separate living accommodation. Rosa (the owner) was wonderful! She was very pleasant, upbeat...she'd have a lovely continental breakfast waiting for us in the morning, and was very knowledgeable about the local area. The views from the terrace of our accommodation were breathtaking...from the mountains to the coast, and the scent of citrus is always there. Our location was a great junp-off point for the train to Rome, Amalfi, Positano etc. We would definitely return!
