The staff was always kind, but I cancelled a life insurance policy almost two years ago with them and moved my auto insurance. Today I get on and they are withdrawing my account for the life insurance policy and saying I never sent the paperwork back to be canceled. I canceled out of need for that extra cash. I plan on calling to double check that now this policy is canceled since emails tend to get lost now days. I’m hoping the money is returned swiftly as they withdrew half of my grocery budget. They seem to be great people, I am just highly unhappy with this situation as it has put me and my family in a tight spot financially.

My insurance was canceled by a clerk in the office without my approval all because I said I was going to shop price and I probably wont be here next month so she took it up on herself to cancel my policy and once I found out about it is because I noticed the payment wasn't being deducted from my card so I have to now pay an extra $45 because my insurance lapse and none of it was my fault I asked for Bobby Lewis the owner to call me he ignored the situation if I didnt tell you to cancel my policy it shouldn't had stopped unless you heard me say those words I'm disabled on a fixed income now I'm going to have to cut back on grocerys for the next six months and go hungry all because some little girl in the office thought she knew what I wanted $45 extra and the owner didnt care enough to return my phone call to work things out I'm telling you state farm is good Bobby Lewis state farm dont care about you me the customer just how much more they can charge you I cant afford the extra $45 but I have to have it to drive to my doctors apts you see I have cancer and I have to drive to my treatments they put me on special diet now I cant afford to eat right all because some one in Bobby Lewis office allowed my insurance to cancel without my approval I dont know how this is going to affect me and my health over the next six months

I would highly advise not to use State Farm. They overdraft my account by taking the monthly draft after the policy was cancelled and 3 different employees said it would be returned within 7 business days. It took a month to get part of my money back. The fact that they would draft the entire amount and then give me some money back proves they should not have taken it out in the first place now I have an overdraft fee to pay at my bank. I was lied to and treated unfair in this matter. I also work with a lady that had the same issue when she moved here from Texas and it took them a month and a half to get her refund

Been with State Farm for 3 years now. I've had a claim which was dealt with great and they even paid a little above what I was expecting. I just got my renewal recently and there was even a rate decrease. Very pleased with both the rates and how business is taken care of.
