Canadian border officers are generally super chill. Don't be afraid to be relaxed and friendly with them – this doesn't mean making small talk or giving more information than they ask for. In my experiences crossing the Peace Bridge, be courteous and friendly. If you have nothing to hide, that should be easy to do. And please, clean your car and remove anything unnecessary before crossing.
