I only recently moved to Minnesota, before that I lived in Tennessee. Back home, places like this didn't exist. If you needed food, you had the sign up and get put on a list. Then they would bring you food on a delivery date (usually a few weeks later) and it was mostly canned products that you would never use. Like a can of pimentos ?. At the Cap agency, all you have to do is be in need and they will help you. They give you fresh food, fresh vegetables, dairy and meat products and even some sweets. Honestly, more food than what you would get anywhere else. They are so helpful and a god send to people in need!
