These must have been awesome when there was water. The grounds just look dry now. There are some beautiful landscaped designs. They use a lot of drought tolerant plants in the gardens but I can only assume due to the crazy drought that everything is parched and a reminder of just how thirsty plants can be. I like the idea very much, but it makes me sad to see how far it's fallen from grace. Please visit and home for rain.

Beautiful park area open to the public from 8 to 5 on Monday through Friday. You must sign in at the gate at the bottom of the hill.
