Cedar Park Police is incredibly rude, and threatened my scared teenaged daughter who had just been in an accident on 183 (Bell Blvd.). She called to make a report for insurance purposes. The woman who answered the non-emergency line was awful and wrote her license plate number wrong, when she told her the correct number the woman yelled at her that she didn’t need to talk. Then an officer who clearly didn’t want to be bothered chastised her asking “well, I don’t know what you would want me to do, if I come out there I will be issuing you a citation for reckless speed. Is that what you want? Do you want me to come out there?” A citation for speeding when she was driving UNDER the speed limit and the cop wasn’t even there to witness what happened. The other driver (who is un-licensed and has expired insurance) left the scene. Our insurance asked if we had obtained a police report, well Cedar Park Police Department apparently doesn’t make police reports for collisions and threatens scared teenaged girls who are crying and alone. THERE IS A REASON NO ONE RESPECTS YOU CEDAR PARK POLICE!!!! I have zero trust and zero respect for you. The Leander Police department is amazing, find out who trains them and FIX IT for the sake of your citizens. You don’t even deserve one star.

OMG! Dear Officers that participated in the recent lip sync battle. May I just say that y"all had my daughter and me rolling in laughter! I hope our neighbors didn't call and report us for excessive noise! In a time in our country that is difficult for many of us to see a light at the end of the tunnel, y"all actually brought some pure joy into my life! I THANK YOU for participating in the Lip Sync battle, and hope y'all know that you are appreciated. If I ever get stopped. I"d love it if we could throw in something Beatles! I really know most words of their every songs. Thanks again. You really did a great job!

After 3 phone calls and 2 emails still no reply. Unprofessional and rude. Just went to the CP police station to pick up a police report. The Car wreck was on 3-13-18. We were never given the other persons car Ins. Called 3 times, and emailed twice. Did not hear back from anyone. Now that I'm here on the 27th of March I find out that the officer has not even finished the report!!! So much for within 10days!! I do not understand why it would take so long. I had to do my own investigation just to get the person's Insurance info!. And if this is how they do things it's very scary. What can u remember after 14 days?! Ya, I'm sure u get the best report after waiting that long.

Most of the bad reviews are from the wrong side of the law and oddly it's their only review. Next time your in trouble call one of your buddys, dealers, or friends to come direct traffic, get into to your friends house (remember the cops don't know you from adam and trusting your"word" letting you in. If only cops had esp and knew bad from good. If only they didn't have to worry about the fact that Texas is a right to carry state. Something to consider next time you have attitude with a officer whose only hope is to make it home alive to their family that day.

A lot of the reviews down below complaining about the officers are totally wrong. The people who wrote them most likely are low life junky's or alcoholics causing trouble for the community. The CPPD are a good police force. As with every police department they have room for improvement, but are very skilled at what they do.

Two wonderful officers arrived on a domestic violence case and were extremely compassionate and empathetic towards those involved. There couldn’t have been a more perfect way to help those who needed the help. Glad we have them on our police dept

They handled my case very poorly, they refused to turn over my 911 recording even though it was and is public record. I'm not surprised by their handling of the Greg Kelley case. 1 star is very generous and they don't deserve any stars.
