I’ve had horrible experiences with Chavez insurance over and over so I finally desided to pay more elsewhere and leave. When I went in person to cancel my insurance after I got my new car insurance , I asked if I needed to pay anything. The lady responds with “nope your all set” . I confirmed with her again and said “I’m not going to receive anything in the mail stating I owe” she said no. This was in January. Today I received a letter from collections its Chavez saying I owe $$ ! So unprofessional. I’ve tried calling multiple times and no answer. I’ve received no letters prior they were sending it to my previous address but all of a sudden they have the correct address for my collection bill. No phone calls prior to even make me aware me that I owe anything. Horrible customer service. I guess you get what you pay for... I will make sure everyone in Selma knows to go anywhere but Chavez. And I will get the name of the lady I spoke to.
