The Civic Science CEO, John Dick, has made a name for himself in The Independent (UK) publication by being keen to using answers to a single, intentionally misleading question in a survey his company developed, "Should schools in America teach Arabic numerals as part of their curriculum?” to condemn respondents who replied "no" as part of "the saddest and funniest testament to American bigotry we've ever seen in our data." His arrogance and thorough lack of scientific approach necessary to reach such a conclusion should be a warning to anyone who considers Civic Science's "mission to power the world's opinions" and expects objective, sound results. By the way, the western world uses "Western Arabic". The survey question was factually flawed, but don't let that get in the way of John Dick's egotistical chuckling.

The polling questions you write are slanted and misleading and therefore provide meaningless results. I just answered a question that asked if I supported government program cuts and an increase in military spending. If I answer no ( which I did ) it could be construed as a vote against program cuts when in fact I am apposed to any government increases in spending. Perhaps you should think about your questions before submitting them for polling.
