Scam company, better pick other rentals.It was my 1st and last experience with coastal rentals. They will never give ur full deposit back, they are so clever in hiding any damage spots or furniture discoloration. very good customer service but It was very bad experience with their rental property which is at Norswing Dr, oceano... Guys never ever rent this home it's a scam where they rob you by saying that they found damage spots or some sand Mark's on floor .. I would have taken pictures of every thing before moving in the rental property .

The house was beautiful and location great but the house that we rented had no sound isolation between floors. Since the living room was upstairs, it affected noise levels down in the bedroom whenever anyone would move in the living room.

I give a five star rating !! I can't say enough good about everyone at "Coastal Vacation Rentals". Erin, Ken, Rosalie, Barbara, all who work there and have helped my husband and I tremendously. Best company and people I have had the pleasure of renting from in Pismo Beach. We were totally new to the area for a company transfer for my husband's work. We explained we were looking for a furnished long term rental; and they matched us perfectly to the best units in town to choose from. They all made it so easy to move in and so helpful and accommodating all our needs. Everyone in the office is so friendly and really takes the time to make your rental move such a pleasant experience. I would never go anywhere else; we had tried two other local property management companies prior that were no help at all; then found Coastal Vacation rentals. Don't waste your time with any other's like we had. Go direct to the best the first time !! Ken and Rosalie found us our place in one day, and it's perfect ! Thank you to all in your office.

They are attempting to keep $300 of my deposit without a reasonable explanation. Been renting all over the country for the last 2 years and never had a company keep my deposit. Edited on 5/22/19: I'm just now seeing the response from Coastal Vacations (see below). This review was written when Coastal Vacations was attempting to charge an additional $300 + my nonrefundable $300 pet deposit. Coastal admitted it was a mistake and removed the fee after I spoke with a few people in their office. I therefore upgraded my review to a 3/5 stars - overall it's a good location but make sure you review your charges at checkout.

We’ve been renting from Coastal Vacation Rentals for over 1.5 years! They are awesome, the staff is very nice and accommodating! If there’s any issues they are quick to fix the problem <br/>Highly recommend them we’ve not rented from a better place and we’ve been travelers for 4 years

My husband and I love our place in Avila Beach. Great views, quiet neighborhood and away from the hub, but close enough to walk downtown. It is a well furnished vintage beach house with plenty of comfy furniture and awesome view of the bay. So glad Coastal Vacation Rentals take care of these properties. The office gang are helpful, personable and always have ample time to go over anything. This is year 13 for us in the area. We have rented in both Pismo and Avila beaches. CVR has always been so accommodating. This area is fortunate to have such a competent organization to handle the hoards who flock to the beaches. We will definitely return in fall. Thanks Billy and staff. We love you!!

Next unit went under construction so forced to move at my expense. Put into dumpy dog barking apartment, downgrade that cost me extra cleaning fees.

SHE'S A SCAM ARTIST. SHE PROMISES ONE THING AND NEVER DELIVERS. GOOD LUCK GETTING YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK. SHE LIES. SHE TELLS YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR AND THEN CHANGES THINGS UP DEPENDING ON HER MOOD. I WAS PLANNING ON RENTING FOR 6MONTHS SO I ASKED FOR $100 OFF; SHE GOT UPSET, RAISED HER VOICE AND INSULTED ME "YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT???". HER CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE, SHE DOESN'T DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS. DO A SEARCH, THERE ARE MUCH BETTER PLACES TO SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY THAT ACTUALLY APPRECIATE YOU!
