Web site is not good. Call and does not connect with any number. Not in English with any # hit either. No other number to call. Worthless. Have been cut off and no reason. Calls have not been returned. No funds for food. July 7, called again. Still no calls back. Out of food. Willing to drive down, and today expected to be 120! How about some help? or reply. Handicapped and low income so is $10-15 gas in my old car. STILL NO CALL BACKS AND IS THE 13th. can I get another worker? July 14 8AM, Again tried to call. Recording does not work. Then hangs up. Obvious web site staff inept. Also should get full amount, like in the past and now, given very little. Totally disgusted and had to do two trips in one day, a long drive from north Palm Springs plus gas costs. The worst experience. With no income for food, only allowed $10 a month. Normal is $173. Called and left messages. No calls back. Have to drive there again and get in line. The worst! July 20th. Still no call and zero food. Asked New worker possible? July 25th. No call back. No food. Messages left. Called again, July 25th 4 PM and left another message. Sept 2 2017 AT LAST corrected to the full amount. Much appreciated. But, in their defense, they have a large number to deal with and always a few there waiting. Not an easy job, but progress and GREATLY appreciated. Many thanks. When was only $10 a month, lost 15 pounds, had nothing to eat. The new diet.NOV 24, Call and get recording. Wait and it disconnects. Happens all the time. Inept system. Worker does not return calls EVER! I leave recordings too with all details. Cut my coverage totally wrong, since almost no income. Three months no food, lost 30 pounds. Would not credit back which she could, almost $450! May 22 could not call the # on the card to confirm balance and calling the site number doses not work, recording worthless and no "live person" which used to get in the past. When driving to the office also difficult to get help correcting errors. In north Palm Springs with my older car and not good MPG is almost $11+ in gas to drive there plus time. Staff there usually only have a few waiting so are fairly quick.

Every time I call my case worker Ms. Negrete she never picks up the phone. I even left a voicemail a month ago and no call back. I just don’t understand why would you sign up for a job you can’t do.

Their personal is the meanest people that i ever treat they are rude unhelpful and looks like they forget that they a getting pay with our tax money.

I'm furious I dropped off paperwork to be given to my case worker Mrs. Negrate it was never received. Then I try leaving voicemails for my case worker never received one call back. What the heck kind of agency is being run here. I dont have time to sit for hours in your waiting room over simple questions that can be answered over the phone. It seems more and more people are lazy at there jobs. While good hard working people like myself who struggle with finding work continue to go through hardships. Rediculous attitude problems to every time I call to speak to someone. This is not the way a state agency who assists the public should be conducted. I spoke to a supervisor finally and the only thing she was willing to do was send an email if it has been found if not I'm out of luck. That is inexcusable!!!. This is the icing on the cake I applied to receive general assistance with funding due to not having any source of income a few months ago and a case worker with very poor english denied me because of a misunderstanding about income I was not receiving so she flat out denies me. Its rediculous and unacceptable to receive this sort of treatment.

Every time I have gone there I have been helped very quickly was very little weight however I do go right when they open up in the morning so I had a great experience and relationship with the ladies that are in the office in the administration / Lake reception area but there's a disconnect from communication with my worker whom I've been trying to contact 2 weeks with no reply

Of course lines take hours, but supervisors should call people back so that extra trips don't have to be made.

call their number and its a 10 second loop with no voicemail and no one ever picks up. even called my worker (Leslie Lopez) direct 4 days in a row always to voicemail. she never calls back. no response.Have been told benefits are active a week ago and they are still not there. it's Wednesday now so no reason she couldn't have done her job yet. there is no way to get a hold of them unless they want to call you. public service? doesn't look like it.
