Feedback:

My review is from 2016 which my family still talks about mainly because we wished we had said something back then. I come from a family of nurses and the nurses there at the time were the least compassionate group I had encountered in a facility. My dad passed away a few weeks after his hospitalization and my sister and I recalled the nurse saying when we asked for a private room because his roommate was coughing constantly that “if we were in a war he would be in a room with other people.” Well, uh we weren’t in a war. What kind of response is that? She also mentioned about how we should be grateful because everything is free. Very non therapeutic especially at a critical point of my father’s life and my family’s wellbeing. My father gave 20 years of his life to the Navy and to be told that while my father was in his last weeks is one of the things we remembered the most. I hope that if anyone reading this who works in the medical surgical floor to please remember that you should provide an environment of loving care and kindness. I think the staff needs to look at Jean Watson’s theory of human caring and subscribe to the 10 Caritas process. If you don’t know what they are look it up. I hope your staff learns from my experience....no one should ever feel like how we did. It hurt my family so much that we continue talking about it til this day.

Feedback:

I am still currently a patient here, and I've never really been inclined to post a google review anywhere but it has felt needed. No, nothing is as perfect as one would prefer given the fact you simply aren't in your own home. But the care and compassion I've recieved thus far has been beyond exceptional. My care team has went above and beyond in helping me and I'm so thankful to be here after being in a Sutter hospital for a week and transferred here. I've been provided more answers and explanations in general. Thank you DGMC for your kindness, compassion, knowledge and hospitality.

Nice

Feedback:

Hospitalized here 3x and just now realized how low their score on here is. Just here to give my 2 cents on why 5 stars should be their real rating. -Place is VERY clean and well kept. -Food is decent if you order the right meals. -Staff is respectful and down for some good well timed dark humor.

Feedback:

They are there to give patient care

Feedback:

I was born here in 1957 It seems like as with anything in life. You can please some of the people some of the time and all people some of the time but not all the people all of the time. People feel they deserve more than they get and demand more than they deserve so there’s never enough done. Sad world. All hospitals have the same issues different days. It’s what’s expected that creates objectivity.

Feedback:

Excellent care. I have never had an issue with the quality of care in the 17 years I've been seen here, since I retired from the Navy and moved to the area.

Feedback:

Military Medical Center... it's pretty much what youd expect. I'll chime back after I go to the dining facility. Because let's face it, that's what really makes or breaks the experience.
