Feedback:
Fantastic experience dealing with Denholm Associates! I found Jackie to be friendly, informative and professional throughout the entire process and would highly recommend Denholm Associates.
Feedback:
I was recently placed in a senior role by Denholm and found it a really positive experience. Jonathan Watt was a great support, providing good insight about the role and the wider company, was in regular contact to update me throughout the recruitment process and I valued his experience and judgement. I would definitely recommend this consultancy and hope to work with them again in the future.
Feedback:
I've used Denholm Associates as both a candidate and an employer for nearly twenty years now and they've provided the same excellent levels of service throughout that time. Friendly, professional and supportive, no matter which side of the equation you're on. The team there really know their respective industries and the Scottish market as a whole. They've always been my go-to agency and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

Post by Emma Heath:I have worked with Nicki, Marisa and the team at Denholm for over a decade and our longstanding relationship is testament to the type of business they are and the people they employ. As a client, they filled numerous roles for me over a ten year period in my last job where they were appointed as lead agency for sales & marketing vacancies - from briefing through to candidate hiring they always showed an excellent understanding of the type of person you need and they have always delivered a strong shortlist. I have recently used Denholm to fill a marketing vacancy and the consultant, Agata, was exceptional from the outset and showed great professionalism and insight at each stage of the process. The candidates I interviewed all spoke very positively of the way that Denholm had worked with them, too. I also worked with Denholm just over two years ago for a career change myself. Douglas was excellent from start to finish, and I would highly recommend him.I believe that Denholm are one of the most connected group of recruitment consultants in Scotland from a marketing perspective and they remain my go-to partner.

I have worked with Denholm on a couple of big executive appointments recently with great success. From the outset, they understood the brief and delivered on budget and ahead of schedule. They supplied me a list of worthy candidates and the rest was easy. I'm happy to recommend them and I look forward to working with them on my next executive hire.
Feedback:
Denholm Recruitment is absolutely terrible to work with... Absolutely shocking service, very high fees, move placements to new jobs regularly, completely unethical practices... They move the same candidates around the same clients within relatively short periods and seem to be interested in the fee above all else.

I worked with Jackie from Denholm whilst trying to find a new role and couldn’t praise the service higher. Jackie and the team were able to advise me on my CV and found a role that was suitable for me. Not only did they put me forward for consideration for the role but Jackie was also able to give me advice and interview pointers to help make sure I felt prepared. Even after I got the job (which in itself is amazing), Jackie still reaches out to see how I’m doing and to make sure I’ve settled in. A very friendly team who really want to see the candidates succeed, in order to benefit their clients. Would highly recommend!
Feedback:
I’ve been contacted by ‘Denholm Associates’ on Linkedin and informed about an opportunity for an international sales role. After submitting my CV the person who contacted me never actually reverted to me but a colleague of his phoned me a few days later and explained me about the role. I took him through my CV, he was praising my professional background and meant that my industry-specific experience, market relevant language skills and knowledge of the designated markets make me a strong candidate for the position. He also said that he’d try to negotiate for me with his client a salary slightly higher than advertised.A week later he called me again and asked me about my actual status of employment, being fully aware that I had resigned from my position at my last employer and I was freelancing. Before arranging an interview with his client he tried to bully me into accepting his subpar proposal of settling for a salary significantly lower than what we were previously talking about on the premise that I was ‘unemployed', basically trying to offer me to his client as ‘damaged good at a discounted price’.As I was unhappy with this new proposition and the whole matter appeared to be going nowhere I decided to withdraw from the interviewing process. My overall impression was that this agency doesn’t represent the interests of candidates and just tries to push down salary expectations.
