Feedback:
When confronted with the fact that he's paying roughly half the industry standard wage and no where near a living wage (most employees had to live with roommates or partners in order to afford housing), the company owner simply doesn't care. Simultaneously, he flaunts his personal wealth in about the most cliche way possible; by regularly alternating between driving his sports car (with golf clubs in the passenger seat) and luxury SUV... when he bothers to show up. The blatant display of flagrant exploitative classism is very demoralizing. On the plus side, the actual supervisors in the office are generally competent and professional, as are the majority of the employees. Most the employees are grossly overqualified, in general. The owner seldom cares to have meaningful interaction with employees, choosing instead to limit interactions almost exclusively to the supervisors... often imposing work flow practices that come across as counter-productive and inefficient, and often not helpful to supervisors and employees doing the actual work. Many relatively easy to implement work flow optimizations are disregarded by ownership. The equipment used for production is also extremely dated and inefficient (5 to 10 year old hardware is common, with boot up times often being minutes).Hiring and promotions are handled oddly, sometimes as a result of a mass exodus of disgruntled employees, or due to difficult to understand preferential treatment. Turn over is extremely high, with entire departments sometimes turning over in a matter of months (rather than paying a fair wage and treating employees as deserving of general decency to up retention.)In general, I am not able to recommend the company as a place to work for due to the poor compensation, low morale, and sometimes questionable treatment of the supervisors and employees by management.I would not recommend doing business with this company due to highly questionable morality of ownership.
