Our family member was not cleaned properly and has bed sores, rashes and infections. At times it was difficult to get ahold of a nurse. Also, at one particular time a nurse asked a family member what/how a specific medical device was used. This was alarming because it meant she didn't know what she was doing furthermore we are not medical professionals and can't tell a nurse how to do her job. There were a few kindhearted nurses/doctors; the receptionist in the main entrance was sweet and greeted us with smiles almost daily. Unfortunately our overall experience was not pleasant.

Very bad service the nurse don’t put attention to their patients I am in the ER and they take way too long to check on me, I call the nurse and she ignored me! Worse experience of my life

This nasty, dirty, disgusting hospital called the cops on me . They tried to scare me away which didn't work . I took my 4 year old son for an object in his ear. It was sticking out and with tweezers I could have gotten it out but I didn't have any. I took him here and they basically checked his weight and told me wait for a doctor .A nurse comes in (Albert darko) and sticks scissors in his ear (Not forceps) My son is screaming he stops. He cut inside my sons ear and pushed the object all the way in. (Omiel Powell) starts getting discharge papers. I went off on the two of them . The other workers said nothing. The cops came they were nice and understood exactly where I was coming from. Now I have to find an otolaryngologist . Changing everything associated with this place including our pcp.

My wife received superior care at Saint John’s Hospital. All the staff, from the Emergency Room to those who took care of her during her two-day stay were professional, courteous, and caring.

I brought my daughter here when I couldn't make it to her pedi. About 3 months later I receive a collection notice saying my daughter was uninsured and they needed a payment, mind you shes always had insurance and no issues with the company. I called my insurance company and in return called the collection agency stating shes always had insurance so its covered. A month afterward I received a new letter from a different collection agency asking for money again. After calling them, giving them her insurance info and authorization for them to speak to my company I thought it was all taken care of until I received another notice saying my company refused to pay and they needed a payment ASAP!!So once again I call my insurance company and explain the situation which they call and cover it for a second time. This hospital is so corrupt I should of never had to go through this I'm guessing they get a tax cut when people pay out of pocket instead of being covered by insurance. I will never step foot in this hospital again.

Go there if you want to die. I was having severe stomach pain, fever and dizziness at the same time, I had visited my primary Dr 2 weeks b4 and was still not feeling great, so I decided to go to the ER when the pain came back. It took me almost 3 hours to be seen which was ok but the PA who attended to me was so rude and really don't know why he is there. When he came to me, he asked me what is wrong with me, I told him all began when I fainted while working out at the gym and he cut me short and said miss don't tell me what happened to you 2 or 3 weeks ago I'm not here for that, then I said then how are u going to know what is wrong with me? Then he left and One Spanish lady also PA took over my care. The Indian PA left me and did not return, Omg pls if a Dr is not willing to listen to thier patient why visiting? he was Indian, he is medium build and had a rough haircut. I'm sorry I did not ask of his name. Pls if you are sick and want to be well taken care of go to Westchester Medical Center, St Lawrence Hospital or at least St John's. St Joseph Emergency room is like family own hospital which no one cares about you. Rude and nasty pride in them. Save ur life by not going to this particular hospital. Thank you

The nastiest health facility I’ve visited. It stinks all over the place and no wonder as the bathrooms have no water. Everything looks nasty, dirty and outdated. Just hoping the medical service is better than the appearance. Staff doesn’t seem to be friendly at all.
