Feedback:

There's still no fresh new video games for us to choose from.Come on , I'm tired of seeing the same video game selection.....get some new games especially for Xbox one.Their movie selection is getting repetitive and annoying.

Feedback:

The staff is great and the sistem is organized.

Feedback:

The times are workable, and there going to be renovations soon.

Feedback:

I came here for the first time yesterday and I think they're organized with their resources, however they can do some work with patron/customer service in the kids section. They have limited computers so myself and kids were allowed to use for a while but other people came. I think the worker at the desk could have been more polite in asking us to leave. Not very courteous at all. I've been to several libraries in Nassau county and I'm very observant of these things.

Feedback:

One of my favorite libraries. Its not overwhelming to find anything, has a lot of options and is set up nice and neat. There's always staff around to ask questions, just don't be afraid to ask. There's different areas set up; an area for teens, little kids, and they have a basement which has different things going on at different times! They also have guests come in to speak at times as well. Its a great place overall.

Feedback:

Having come here from my studies in elementary school to the conclusion of my graduate work, East Meadow Public Library has become a staple in my life. Coming here always gives me a sense of comfort and calm in an otherwise cruel and insane world. Aside from my experience tonight, where a very rude checkout lady felt the need to "whisper" to her coworker about my mistaking where the line of 1 began; I have nothing but endearing thoughts about this town's library.

Feedback:

Very quiet and peaceful place...

Feedback:

This library is amazing, very clean and sanitary. The staff are very kind , softspoken, and will do anything and everything to help you find whatever ur looking for. They have fun activities such as chess club , reiki class and movie nights. But sadly there are a few problems about the library I hope are resolved quickly because I love coming here.1. This library constantly refuses to accept donating books , Idk why. I have donated old video games , movies BUT every time I bring my collection of books that I read and don't want anymore....the librarians refuse to accept them. The books are either thrown away or just left there completely ignored. The books I donate are in good condition and exciting , only a few years old.2. I think it's very unfair that I can only take out 1 video game , but movies , books and cds I can take a few....video games only 1 can be taken out and no more until that one is returned. They should at least allow 2 video games per person. Also the when you return that 1 video game , the library has a silly policy of not allowing people to renew the video game that they return on time(I'm not talking about late returns). 3. Library needs more new variety of video games , more quantity and perhaps get 2 or 3 copies so people can take out at least 2 video games.4. They have a vending machine in one of the rooms towards the back , but only employees can use it? Why not us patrons? And finally , The library has no karaoke night in there list of programs....maybe even have a video game program in which one of the rooms downstairs is used for video game playing. They offer driving safety classes , but their prices are ridiculously expensive. I want to learn to drive for my road test , only need 2 classes.....if their other programs are free why not give driving lesson for free too?

Feedback:

Well, this morning I walked into The East Meadow Public Library for help in finding a rare gem. As I am a patron, normally I have the most pleasant experiences and generally have known most of the librarians and some at the circulation desk. However, today I was met with the most RUDE and discriminatory librarian - Maryellen Fasso - who wouldn't help me from the moment I requested a book. I asked for Grimm's Fairy Tales and she rudely said that they were all in Children's section and that's where I should go. Well, I politely asked for the version that adults might read and she got nasty. Her tone and shortness were the most unbecoming of any librarian I've ever seen. I wonder if she even knows how to do her job, because then, without looking at the computer, she walks me over to the section where it was 398....I have never dealt with her before, but I suggest you stay away from her if you want a pleasant experience. Otherwise, there is a WONDERFUL librarian, I believe her name is Deborah and she is the most patient, kind, AND HELPFUL librarian I've ever met and had the pleasure of working with. She is more than resourceful and will find almost anything you need. She is THE BEST. I only left one star for the bad (Maryellen F.), but if I could leave five stars it would only be for Deborah.
