Unsolicited marketing mail was delivered to me on behalf of Louetta Automotive, fulfilled by echo advertising. Not a big deal, that's standard practice. however the issue begins when I tried to be removed from the mailing list. First i called Louetta Automotive. they were not helpful. they said they were not responsible for the advertisements and could not remove me. so i called the number listed on the waste of paper, ink, and postal power. they did not answer. i left multiple voicemails as instructed to no avail. so i went to their website. surely there's an easy way to register on their DO NOT CALL list, i thought. but no; UNLIKE ALL THE OTHER DIRECT MAIL MARKETING CAMPAIGN COMPANIES, echo advertising does not easily present you with a way to "opt-out" (remember these ads are being sent to me unsolicited). This is borderline harassment in my opinion. So i filled out the "contact us" form. this form is only for companies who want to talk about hiring their services. your company name is a required field just to contact someone, not for customer service and general inquires (like remove me from your harassment list). i have much experience with being removed from mailing lists in various states around the country and echo advertising is by far in my opinion the most unprofessional and most difficult to deal with. this type of marketing makes me, as a consumer, not want anything to do with the companies that utilize this method. if my wishes cant be respected on something as simple as please don't send me anymore trash mail, why would i trust a company to do good business with me beyond that point?
