Unfortunately, our experience with EFC is extremely poor. My wife and two children have participated in Karate lessons here in Mass. off on on for a decade. Once the school switched to EFC for billing, we have had issues with overbilling every time they've stopped classes. Previous times we had paid by check, which allows us to control, and stop payments. The last time, we gave them a credit card number...DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY A CREDIT CARD NUMBER OR THE ABILITY TO AUTO-DRAFT ON ANY ACCOUNT! They have attempted to bill us for the last 10 months since we stopped classes. We know the Owner/Teacher and have met all requirements for stopping classes, yet they still attempt to bill our credit card. Luckily our credit card expired 9 months ago so we only overpaid by one month. Against the wishes of the owner and ourselves, they are still sending us bills in the mail. If your Martial Arts Studio uses EFC, ask them to switch. They are an unethical company with predatory billing practices.
