I was treated so rude by the owner .He laid my money on the cabinet instead of my hand with my hand out there .. Its a shame people have to act so ugly to there customers in there home town ..Someone else needs to open a Dmv here in elkin .Its not run by the state and if you can prove there a need for a bigger one it could then happen..It’s Sad i have to post this ..

That big woman and man as many years back as I can remember continue to be the same rude as all get out people I have ever come across just looking at them ruins the rest of my day thankfully it's only once a year this is at the plate agency and at the DMV they are rude and unprofessional as well...

Brenda was very nice and helped me with my paperwork that the DMV messed up several times and was wrong about. She stood up and did what she needed to do for me to help me. I was greatly pleased with her knowledge and willingness to listen and help!

Elkin DMV Brenda made me fill out a check 3 times because she didn't like the way it was filled out... I have been writing checks for 50 years and she embarrassed me. Typical government office employee attitude and of what we've come to expect!

I’ve live in Elkin my whole life and have had to deal with them for years. Awful service, rude people (especially the son), and it’s always a dreaded day to have to go there. Can’t believe they’re still employed there.

Arrived when they opened for a driving examine. Was told they were not doing examines today due to "wet roads." It is not even raining! Also, once the driver has a license they will drive on wet roads!? Horrible customer service and experience.

Hardly ever open on time. RUDE. Phone is always busy because they leave if off the hook. Don’t understand how they are both still employed.
