If you travel by train you can reach it from either Fribourg or from Yverdon-les-Bains. I would say the Castle dating from the 12th century is the highlight. However, the Old Part of town also has some beautiful churches and architecture in general (I like the cobbled streets!). You can also go to the lake, try the water-ski lift...or bring along your bicycle to discover the surroundings. Highly recommended.
