They managed to build an e commerce website that was totally incompatible with any of our back-end systems. The blog side of the website was little more than an activated plug-in with no attempt to tie it in with the main website design. Our point of contact was constantly changed and deadlines were never met. A site that we were told would take weeks ended up taking 8 months (which is a lifetime in ecommerce). Eventually they handed an outdated & full of bugs website over to us and we had to employ our own IT guy to fix the bugs (57 hours work).The cost of upgrades and lack of third party integrations for Lemonstand (the ecommerce platform they built it with) eventually led us to the difficult decision to scrap our £8,000 website and start again.I find it amazing that they can design a website that doesn’t work with our current systems & processes, it’s as though I came to them to make a peg to fit in my round hole, they supplied a square peg & told me to go away & teach myself how to whittle it down.They new from day one what our requirements were, our backend systems remained the same during the entire process from initial consultation to hand-over.Think twice before using these guys, a shiny office, great looking portfolio and a glossy proposal does not equate to a well-designed working website.
