When our Point Of Sale company decided to exit the website business, we were left with a very short timeline in which to re-imagine our future growth through a new business model and deploy a new website that would fuel it. We were under great pressure to research various platforms, design companies, and integrations to our current systems, as well as the popular marketplaces. This process took longer than we had planned, mostly due to the vast differences in all the components. When we finally got down to making the final decision, we decided to go with Magento Enterprise hosted on the cloud. The primary reason we felt as though we could make such a tremendous leap was that the crew at EY Studios took the time to answer our questions, research our unique needs, and match us up with extensions that would allow for a seamless flow of data from all of our eCommerce channels directly into our POS system, inventory management system and shipping systems.When we called EY Studios to let them know we had decided to accept their proposal, they were obviously happy with our decision, but they were also quick to remind us that our current website was being shut down in just a few months, and if the new site was going to be launched prior to that we all had a lot of work to do. We were immediately assigned a project manager who took the deadline in stride and pushed us, the EY team, and herself for that matter, to get it all done. Just a few days before our old site was to go dark, our new site went live. As with any project this huge, there were some speed bumps, but EY took care of each one. We’re now 6+ months into the new site, and if I were asked whether we should have done anything differently my answer would be an emphatic “NO!” EY Studios is the real deal. Everyone is helpful, professional and knowledgeable. When we first spoke with EY, they told us that if they were chosen they would become a member of our staff and work on the team just as hard as the rest of us. Truer words were never spoken.
