Terrible customer service, use of classic bullying methods to get people to make offers on properties. Not helpful at all when rental property had problems.

Our experience with Fitzpatrick’s was extremely negative. After speaking to friends and acquaintances, it is evident that ours is not the only bad experience. They have a company ethic of dishonesty seen amongst some of the estate agents and even the managers. Whether buying or renting, Fitzpatrick’s proved to be unhelpful and highly unprofessional. Some of the staff were rude and the company requested unreasonable standards for tenants to return a rental property in. If renting with Fitzpatrick’s be prepared to be treated with untimely responses when there are any issues or existing defects with the house, and yet you will be expected to return the house in ‘the same condition, if not BETTER’ (as stated on their documents) than it was when you first rented it. This is a ridiculous request to make as houses go through general wear and tear, and such a demand only exacerbated the already negative experience we had with Fitzpatrick’s. They are prepared to practise chicanery and underhandedness when selling and renting. When trying to sell a property to us as prospective buyers, we were pushed and harassed to keep increasing our offer. After deciding not to go through with the sale, we later found the house to be placed back on the market by Fitzpatrick’s at a price that was $60 000 less than what the estate agent had pushed us to offer as an ‘acceptable offer’ to the owner. I would definitely not recommend them.

Brandan helped us find our home. Unlike most real estate agents we dealt with that simply collected your name and phone number and have you walk through the house he took time out of his day to show us another property that ticked all our boxes. He walked us through the home. Talked about the specs. Communication was excellent all the way through
