I've worked with several design companies over the years. Wanted to stay local, so we gave Flitch a shot. Extremely poor communication skills from the owner Jake and their sales rep Miles. When we met, I felt like I was their first potential client ever and I was their first pitch ever. Proposal for scope of work was a disaster. They had no idea what we really wanted/needed and what we were looking for after their 15 minute meeting/sales pitch with me, but assured me that they'd follow up, ask the right questions, and tighten all those question marks to ensure a smooth project. We had a pretty tight timeline...they assured me that was no problem for them and that they would follow up to make sure every T was crossed and i dotted. None of that ever happened. Even after I called to let them know the proposal wasn't what we needed/wanted or understood it to be, I never heard back. Working with the artists and programmers was fine, but we basically never heard back from Jake or Miles. They didn't even come close to hitting our timeline. The crazy part is I still sent them a couple more decks to help us update yesterday because Katie their artist was great to deal with...this time no rushed timeline or anything too complex or difficult. Their sales rep Miles just called and basically said "we are not a good fit" he finally called me to let me know he didn't want our business...apparently they have so much business coming in they don't need our $ here at The Sales Academy. Must be nice. We are apparently too demanding of a customer. Thats a first for me in 25+ years doing this
