The staff was excellent and very knowledgeable! Love the bourbon! Too bad it's not American owned.Update 10/18 - We were able to visit Four Roses again. At the distillery Tobie is the best by far tour guide out of every distillery we visited! She will make a RAWKIN Brand Ambassador!! She's very knowledgeable about her company and bourbon in general. We even got the chance to meet Brent Elliott! What a truly fantastic guy! He stopped and talked with us and took pictures and even autographs. This tour will always be my favorite!!

We showed up too late for the tour l, yet were able to get our own private tasting experience! The ladies there were very friendly and the tasting was very informative, plus we received glasses out if it, while our boys received branded wooden barrel bung stoppers. Definitely recommend it!

One of our favorite stops along our bourbon trail! Before arriving, Connie helped coordinate our "Mellow Moments" VIP tour which included our tour of one of their rickhouses, a special gift, and tastings of all 4 of their products (even the newly released "Small Batch Select"). Our tour guide was awesome and even let us taste a barrel strength of the OBSF recipe. - we loved it so much we each bought a bottle of OBSF - barrel strength at a (Louisville) Total Wine & More.I did prefer the tour portion at their distillery (Lawrenceburg location), but I highly recommend both to see the entire process of making Four Roses' delicious bourbon. Both locations' gift shops are great and offer distiller’s select single barrel. Sometimes they also have some of their private barrel strength available.This location is the perfect stop while traveling between Louisville and Bardstown on your bourbon trail.

Tour was $10. Enjoyed learning about the history of the company and the process of taking the unaged distillate from their distillery and transporting to this facility for aging and then finally bottling. Tasting at the end included four samples. Enjoyed the original the best. Nice stop on the bourbon trail and conveniently just down the road from the Bernheim Arboretum.

Loved our tour with Brian! The tour was $5, and began with a bus ride over to the bottling facility, then watched a short 7 minute video that summarizes their operation. We saw their bottling line for the Four Roses Single Barrel, and the high speed line which bottles the regular Four Roses and Four Roses Small Batch. The high speed line can output 180 bottles per minute. I would highly recommend visiting from Monday to Friday, because the employees are not working on the weekend. After this, we saw the area where they fill new barrels with distillate (white dog) and dump the matured barrels for bottling. We went back to the visitor center, and saw the inside of one of their 21 rick houses, each can house 24,000 barrels at full capacity. Heading back to the visitor center, we tasted the traditional Four Roses, Four Roses Small Batch, and Four Roses Single Barrel. I liked the single barrel the best. We got to take home a souvenir glass, and stamped our own bung with a wood burner machine. Best tour for the price paid, and you get to see a different part of the operation that most other distilleries do not offer. Highly recommended!

Great tour. Great bourbon. Visit The Distillery, also. Tell 'em I sent you. They won't know who I am, but I've always wanted to say that... ? Seriously though, Four Roses is the hands-down best bourbon on the planet.
