Graphek is a real gem in the graphic design word. The firm has a talented and congenial staff that has been creating unique and imaginative designs and solutions for me for over 20 years. They have been a partner, producing multi-media projects and taking the time to understand my business/industry, as well as my design preferences as a marketing executive. They are fair, flexible and wrote the book on thorough and prompt communications with their clients. On top of all that, the two principals of the firm, are extremely socially conscious and long time contributors to worthwhile community organizations!Shelly

I had always admired Graphek's work, so when I was looking for someone to design a logo for my new company, I knew immediately who I would turn to. Ellen and her team took the time to understand my business and presented design concepts that captured my goal and my personality. It was hard to decide as each concept was truly unique and all of them would have worked equally well. I highly recommend Graphek for all your design needs. You won't be disappointed!

First and foremost, when you work with GRAPHEK you’ll get an exceptional product. They possess a high-end, polished design aesthetic, that for us - really set them apart from the beginning. Secondly, the team is incredibly easy to work with; well-rounded in their design experience, punctual but flexible, professional, courteous, and open-minded. And third, they listen – and this is one of those skills not every company can claim, but GRAPHEK really listens to the client, to learn from them in the design process. As the lead scientist for an NGO, we selected GRAPHEK to design an Endangered Species Act report – and the result was spectacular. We had complex mapping parameters to work around, included multiple partners in our design feedback process, and leaned on GRAPHEK to help us generate story-telling ideas. I'm not sure our report would have been as effective without the high-impact design provided. I am thoroughly impressed by what Walter and Ellen Kim have established as a quality company producing quality products - GRAPHEK. I look forward to working with them in the future.

GRAPHEK is a top notch design firm! I initially hired them 10 years ago when I was starting up my business to help me with the development of a logo and business cards. They did a tremendous job on these first pieces and over the years they have done so much more. They have designed my company website, numerous marketing collaterals and have provided general marketing support when we've needed it. I constantly get compliments on my business branding and I owe it all to GRAPHEK! They are true professionals with incredible design capabilities and even more - they are fun to work with!!

In the hyper-competitive world of residential real estate, effective marketing is critical to growth, but standing out in such a crowded field is challenging. GRAPHEK has proven to be a differentiator for my business, creating a logo that is subtle, but regular elicits positive feedback. And I’m reminded of the exceptional creativity of the GPAPHEK Team every time I share a business card; it is not an easy accomplishment to have a business card start conversations! Was considering a new company logo. Never going through this process before, I wasn't sure what to expect. GRAPHEK manged the process the entire way, exceeding my expectations. GRAPHEK provided us many considerations and options to choose from with our new logo. The final outcome was excellent and the feedback from our client base has been incredible.

GRAPHEK's Twitter Bio reads "An award-winning, interdisciplinary design studio looking for new problems to solve & strong partnerships to build", but as a former designer for this company, I'm happy to say that they are so much more than that; they're a family. Ellen Kim's excellent art direction and passion for delivering quality design in the studio can only be surpassed by her kind-hearted friendship outside the studio. Her husband Walter, GRAPHEK's managing principal, exemplifies great strength as both a businessman and a loving father of three. Their design team, lead by the talented and charismatic Sophie Ramsey, are always challenging themselves creatively to raise everyone's A-game. Whether it's branding, interactive design, collateral or publishing, there's nothing this company can't do. More importantly, the relationships they build with clients is second to none. Quality correspondence, excellent customer service, and attention to detail are just a few things you can expect from them. At the end of the day, this is a company you'd want to share a cold beer with after a long day of work (Yes, they're THAT cool). The only critique I have is that they need to find some room for a new trophy case, because they continue to rack up award after award.This is one the DMV's finest design firms, and I can't recommend them enough. 5 Stars? Give them all the Stars!

Graphek designed the logo for my husband's small business and we absolutely love it! They gave us 7 designs to choose from and we loved almost all their designs. It was amazing that they did an amazing job in such a quck time frame. Their follow up was also very helpful -- helped us with our feedback and also with feeding our needs to use the logo for exterior signs, business cards, etc. Thank you so much!!
