Feedback:

You could go there needing nothing much then s job sheet at the women who is so miserable with her life Vicky McCully would find away to ruin your who day or any hope of bettering yourself. Not only has she been rude to myself but I witnessed her being so disrespectful to a gentleman who came in asking About an apprenticeship. Sadly because of her rudeness and unwillingness to get him ANY information she claimed she knew nothing about. Remind you as a flyer is hanging on the wall. He left empty-handed. Only if they would get rid of her they could potential be ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Feedback:

GCJAFS DOESN'T TRY TO HELP ANYONE. IT'S ALWAYS WANTING PEOPLE TO LEAVE A MESSAGE AND NOBODY EVER CALLS BACK. I HAVE LEFT MANY MESSAGES. AND I'M DISABLED AND NEED HELP BUT NO BODY CARES. I CAN'T EVEN GET PASSPORT GOING BECAUSE NOBODY WANTS TO DO ANY HELP FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE AND LOW INCOME.

Feedback:

Every person I've talked to in this office is rude. This a place for people to get assistance not a place for the workers to look down on people for needing assistance. Nothing is done in a timely manner, so if you're trying to get food stamps, you better be prepared to wait a month before hearing anything back about being approved or not. Good luck to anyone dealing with this office.

Feedback:

Anyone else see irony in the fact that they're always putting information to report fraud on their signs outside? Yet they're supposed to be the primary place you goto in order to receive help for your family? I'm all for catching people who abuse the system, but I don't think every single individual--who finds themselves in the unfortunate situation of asking for help--should be presumed of committing fraud every single interaction they have with a case worker in Guernsey County. Maybe having the case workers investigate fraud, is a conflict of interest? The same person who is charged with helping you, is also charged--even incentivized I've heard--with rooting out the miniscule amount of people taking advantage of the system. Call me crazy, but I'm just not sure that should be the case. The funny thing? Usually people who get caught taking advantage of the system, are people who at one point really needed the help and certainly aren't living luxurious lifestyles as a result. Far more people seek assistance as a band aid to help reach higher more lofty goals, a step up on the ladder, than do people who are trying to commit fraud. The vast majority of people who apply for help, actually neeed help. I also think case workers try too hard to stick someone in a situation that gets them off assistance in the short term, without looking at their long term prospects. If you choose to take the time to get an education or time consuming training that will ultimately ensure you're off assistance forever once your reach those goals, you're looked down upon by these people because you've decided taking a low wage salary in a factory or some other temporary job, is not the best way to get yourself off assistance. I just think these people should be more understanding and compassionate and they should be looking at each individual differently to find a way that bests fit them and their long term "welfare." Maybe a factory is a good fit for some people, but maybe it's not too. Maybe each person should sit down and be told what all they're options are without being judged for taking one that fits them best.
