After calling in on a suspected drunk driver, I stayed around the area of which the vehicle was last seen. One young police officer arrived and listened to the information I had to give, pretty courteous and professional but all that changed when i felt as if i was being interrogated for calling in on this driver. The young cop practically had his entire upper body in my car (which was occupied by just me and no tinted windows) listening while looking around my entire car, then he proceeded to say my fog lights weren't working and I had my high beams on, my car doesnt have fog lights and my high beams were not on, and then proceeded to ask me if the car was registered in my name. Seemed to me that I was of more interest in the young cops eyes than the possible drunk I took the time to call in on and follow to make sure no one was seriously injured by this maniac behind the wheel driving erratically. Sad to say that I'd rather not waste my time calling in anything in the Harrison twp police department's area, I did the right thing and left the situation feeling as if I was the criminal by the way I was treated. Again, the cop was semi courteous, and listened but seemed to want to find something wrong with me or my car rather than deal with a legitimate threat to the safety of the public.
