We just received notification that the rental we had reserved for Labor Day weekend is unavailable due to mold issues and needs to be renovated. Nine days prior to our reservation date. More importantly they were unable to find another rental close to our original price. As with anyone reading this review would be, I am extremely disappointed. I will never rent from this management company again.

Do I need to give a star,, Upon arrival my daughter's friend went in for the keys and was told they dont rent to groups and they cant have a refund. They tried to explain that they were mostly family with a few friends that go on vaction yearly together. PAT was so rude and wouldn't give my daughter a chance to explain. She rudely told my daughter, which is always nice to every person she meets and making her way through vet school on her own, to just leave the parking lot because she has other clients. My daughter called me, I tried to call and tell her that I was working and would be there tomorrow. Pat very rudely blew me off like I was a nobody. I work in the bar business and wouldn't treat the worst customer's that way. Thank you Pat for showing young adults how to behave rudely. That's just what we need in this world. Thank goodness vrbo stepped in to help these young adults out. Without them they would be driving home without having a much needed vacation.

I have been renting with them for a very long time, at least for over 10 years. They have always been very helpful and gone out of their way to help us! We bring our dog with us on vacation and they have the best pet friendly rentals that are clean and comfortable for us all. I lost the home we liked one year and they went above and beyond to help us find one in it's place. I would highly recommend. Hope to buy something one day and they will be the first ones I call! Thank you!

Wish I could write something good here because i dislike wriiting negative things, but reviews are about the truth. The truth about this company is they are absolutely scammers to be avoided at all costs. If you do have no choice other than to work with them due to their dominance of the real estate in the area, Be absolutely sure to do a complete video walk through at move in and move out, and do not allow them to perform move in or move out inspections without you being present. Even if you take care of everything they will still try to charge you for the same services and fees and stick you with repair bills for issues that were on the move in inspection and should be fixed by their company or the owner. Have a witness for literally everything you do with them, document everything, be prepared to have to go to court to get your security deposit back and be prepared for dishonest, unresponsive and unethical behaviors from this company. Very carefully research landlord tenant laws and the lease and be prepared to fight for your basic rights as a tenant. Literally the WORST lease and landlord I have ever had. They will empty your pockets for nothing just because they live in an area where people are often too poor to defend themselves or know their legal rights and this company exploits those poor souls everyday. They will try to stick you with all the repairs and play middle man while they screw over both property owners and tenants. I will never give any business or send another soul to hileman real estate and I will in fact reccomend they find almost any other alternative. Watch out for their water bill scams as well, they charge both the owner and the tenant for the water bill and pocket the extra.
