I went to Lee Hinkle because my parents have been working with him for auto insurance for many years. He's a pleasure to work with, really knows his stuff, and gets things done quickly/effectively.

If you need auto tags services, this is the WORST place ever! Ordered a new license plate and they said it would be mailed directly to home. After several weeks, no license plate and a violation ticket later, it turns out they received it TWO WEEKS EARLIER and didn't bother telling us!!!! Had to go pick it up and they claimed they mailed us a notice. Liars! We never received any notice. And what, they can't pick up a phone and call their own customers??? Pathetic. And they overcharge for their services to boot. They should have paid that $150 ticket we received. Never again!!!

These are people of high integrity in a field where that is not always the case. I recently went looking for comparable quotes on the three policies I have with Hinkle and thought I found a way to save some money. Turns out the agent essentially lied to me (or did not understand my very simple request for an quote on reasonably identical polices) to get my business. Indeed, I had to look at all the details of what they were offering to figure that out. Hinkle would never do that. The also offer free notary service to clients. The peace of mind of dealing with honest brokers is worth a lot to me.
