Client Review on Hôtel Aquarius

Visited for an overnight stay en route to Spain in July of 2019. Canet en Roussillon occupies a special place for Me as I was on holiday there with my parents in 1985; my visit of 2019 was the first time I had returned in over 3 decades. I wasnt disappointed. The town itself boasts a superb beach and a very cosmopolitan town centre. The Hotel Aquarius itself is no let down either. There ARE some areas that need attention such as the stairwell carpets and the room we stayed in was basic and quite expensive for what you get. BUT, the staff absolutely made up for any shortfall; they were superbly attentive and friendly, a point not lost on me as a Brit abroad in these days of Brexit. The dining area is first class, as is the outdoor pool and lounge area surrounding it. And the food! :-() We had an all you can eat buffet which was just awesome; I could barely walk afterwards! Dont be fooled into thinking the car park is full either; there is a rough area on the other side of the building that acts as an overspill parking area.All in all I'd happily go back and indeed will do.
