I'm giving one star because I have to give it something. I booked what was supposedly a 4-star hotel and getting an outstanding deal. I spent at least 50% more than I should. Even the employees at the hotel say it is a 3-star. I have spent my whole first day in London trying to have them get me another place to stay, which they didn't. I have to pay for the first day -- even if I don't stay here. The major problem with the hotel is that the only way to get to any rooms is up a couple of flights of narrow stairs. No one said there would be stairs. My calls will probablycost hundreds of dollars. It's 8:30 p.m. I have no where to stay. They have hundreds of dollars of mine. Also, after I paid for the hotel, they asked if I wanted to book a bus ride from the airport (Yes, it was the one I arrived at.) and it would take me directly to the hotel. I did that, but no bus. I spent two hours walking aroud the airport trying to find my bus. Everyone said there wasn't one. I had to buy another ticket to town. I was put on hold for long periods of time. One person even hung up on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor. DO NOT USE HOTWIRE. SPREAD THE WORD!
