Feedback:

Very poor communication. They were not flexible or understanding, even though I was patient through all of their excuses for slow or no responses (staff member out sick, tech issues, we had to outsource so we don’t know). Even though my client had paid in full and the final files had been submitted, I never got an ETA on when things would be ready. Even if you’re outsourcing something, you can still tell the customer: “It typically takes 3-4 weeks” for custom orders, or something along those lines. We got nothing, except: “We’ll call you when we know.” Well, they rarely called and never seemed to know anything when they did, not even when the in-house signs might be ready. My client wanted to be completely hands off, but even they ended up calling directly to get some answers. To make matters worse, when everything was ready, I still got no call; they were just going to up and go to the site. So the deliverables weren’t produced on time, and they were unwilling to offer us a free or reduced price solution for the inconvenience. They might have competitive prices, but they’ll keep charging you for their poor communication. In my 11 years designing, I’ve never had this experience with a printer. The two stars are for: 1) Beth still kept a professional tone despite our tension; 2) the on-site installer was cordial and professional.
