Official Public Relations department for Pakistan Army is dire need have time. In the past time, we all have witnessed huge controversies and hatred against Pakistan Armed Forces. This is happen due to lack of official statements from Army Personnel. Further, media both international and Pakistani, is somehow also manipulating information from this space. The main purpose of ISPR is to broadcast news related to Armed Forces. Moreover it likely to communicate the news regarding Forces to civil media. Thus it tends to fill the information vacuum created somehow. Since 1990s, the organization is involved in producing and directing movies, dramas and songs tribute to Martyrs, Ghazis and soldiers of Pakistan. It also releases the televised press releases on ongoing events and circumstances. It could be said that it’s a public relation body which acts between Armed Forces, Media and Public.It forms the media strategy of Pakistan’s armed forces. Moreover it monitors national and international media. It is really very prompt to respond any sort of news against Armed Forces on both national and international media to handle the negative influence deliberately been created.
