The meeting I attended in Aug/2017 at KHV drew about 30 members. The meeting mostly covered the new antenna rig on an island off shore from Newport. The meeting was not technical. There was discussion of some kind of software service fee based where you can log your transmissions/contacts and discussion of the treasury funds. There was another person new to the hobby. I really do not care for the pretentiousness of ham radio. Big deal if you take a multiple choice test and pass. I guess I would be afraid of getting in trouble with the FCC but I think the FCC should crack down on certain AM radio talk show hosts that say really offensive things over the radio waves. I am ready to apply for political asylum in Sweden> I feel as though Americans are dumber than rocks these days and I like the study of rocks. I visited this club by traveling on the bus and coming in from Boston. I have been to 47 states and traveled internationally and intend to visit every country except Romania. I really do not care for Boston or New England, kind of stoggy. I mean there's the entire world at hand and the dweebs want to show off in their cape cod style bungalow and they talk funny and irritate me and no motivation to really do anything else and think they are superior. I would rather be in the Mid West where people are kind/supportive/fun and not cold/icy. I got the cold shoulder from some members of this club, they must have looked me up on the internet when I called and gave out my call sign. The dog had bitten the straps on my Teva sandals I got from my mom's closet. I just found out that Chaco's are actually a lot more comfortble than Teva even though Chaco's are hard they won't give you plantar fascitis and the straps are non-adjustable. I have deciding that ham radio is not really the hobby for me. Ultim. ately someday I would like to have a setup. But seems pretty silly especially contesting, aside from the skill involved, it might be enjoyable and better than video games but it doesn't build on itself. I would be seeking quality communication. I am not editing this because I am writing more google reviews. I have stopped writing amazon reviews and that awful facebook I finally quit that last year. I am hopping to get into broadcasting. I co-hosted a variety show on KMUD FM Humboldt county california, teenagers claiming to be aliens, the callers were really fun, this is a hippy community in northern california. That was before I went to Europe for 3 months. I have much more to say than most people and tired of so many people trying to waste the other person's time talking. its a competitive world dog eat dog the rat race so wasting someone else's time is a good way to mess with them. I also am definitely not a pretentious person although I like really good food I grew up eating in gourmet restaurants but I'd rather be around country people. I am also turned off by intellectual parascites that you find so regulary today. I am and really interested in teaching myself how to learn not relying on someone else to teach me how to learn. I will keep writing more reviews. I enjoy visitng internatoinal universities and libraries. I was able to get library cards in europe. in the usa it is easier to get a gun than a library card actually since you need to bring in mail. i think this society is becoming hopeless. i am sure i will be judged but i really do care i am pointing out something important. i also have to cancel my gym m b/c the music is terrible and i am ready to travel to new places. i am going to write a new project that covers different categories. and then it will facilitate friendship cohesion because i can say i'm a published author and they will trust me as some voice of reason not someone trying to waste their time. i will continue will my reviews. some people think i am interesting. i could even become friends with certain people that would be otherwise unreachable. and i will complete my projects started in 2007. they are not ready yet. i am looking at the elon musk noticification on the screen. elon musk says he's boring?
