I understand that Tag Office and DMV visits are definitely a "your mileage may vary" situation, but even through an objective lens, this was by far the best service I have ever received at a state agency. Tax, tag, title, and registration, done in just a few minutes. Total time, including standing in line... between 15 and 20min. Visit was on a Friday around 11am. Short lines on both sides, prompt and friendly clerks, small convenient location that is divided into two areas for the different services offered. More clerks on hand in this small office than were available at the larger location on E. Independence just up from Harris Blvd. The lines have always been horrible at that branch. Keep in mind that much of the information that can make your visit quick and easy is available on the DMV website, or by calling the customer service line. I spent less than 10min on my call at around 9am on a Friday, and was prepared with everything I needed. So do your research first, and don't expect the clerks to be able to make exceptions because you didn't have everything you needed.

The people that work here have no clue how to do there job without pissing people off. I went three different times to try and get a tag for my vehicle and every time there was a new problem that they hadn’t told me about before. Worst customer service in town. Spent countless dollars on gas running around town getting forms from insurance and so forth for them to tell me the forms were no good and they couldn’t accept it.

i have nothing but praise for the hard working people in this office. We arrived late morning on a Monday, to title and license 3 vehicles from Florida. Crystal was the clerk who helped us. Our wait to be served was less than 15 minutes. It took approximately an hour to get through all 3 vehicles, but she was friendly, courteous and very helpful thoughout the entire process.This strikes me as a job that wouldn't be a lot of fun, but she made the entire process painless and enjoyable. Thanks!

Well the place is not always full and the ladies are nice if you are nice to them and as far as it being difficult to get something done it’s not the employees fault it’s the stupid DMV that makes all the ridiculous rules, not the ladies in the office!

My son is disabled. So bringing him into places can be somewhat difficult. There was a white lady, brown hair late 30 40 yrs old very rude. Told me the ducuments i brought in are unacceptable, and not to " waste their time, come back if i get myself together" then threw them across the table in which they went flying. Now , I just went in there 2 weeks ago to get these documents from the SAME lady i asked her what to do she explained have the Dr fax or mail them back. Now she changed her story. This woman makes your place look awful! She obviously doesn't know how to do her job, or how to even treat people! She's a disgrace you should hire someone else who knows how to treat people with kindness and not speak to them like they're morons! Never had a problem with you guys intil these past 2 times when she was there! I will be writing a letter to dmv in reference to how their employees treat people with disabilities.
