Worst customer service ever. Evacuating for Hurricane Dorian and they cancelled our reservation without notice. We show up and there’s no apology, no empathy. Just a rude, we’re over booked you can’t stay here. No offer to help find other accommodations. Just a screw you.

+A very pleasant surprise. We weren't expecting much, but it way exceeded our expectations. Very unique hotel in the middle of a small town main street. Just loved breakfast room library and the retro school principal portraits dating back to the 17 and-1800's. We will definitely return 9n our next trip south. Staff was friendly, prices reasonable, breakfast decent, and it seems like a safe area. However, we had three rooms on the 3rd floor and they were musty and smelled like mold. I have allergies and asthma and woke up to an asthma attack and throwing up because of the mold. We are getting out here as quick as we can. I've never had a hotel smell like this because of mold. Stucko and humidity do not do well together so it is no fault of the staff but rather the person who designed it. This material does better out west and is not designed for the climate in the South. Look elsewhere.
