Every single item on this menu is as if it was specifically designed to dance with joy on your taste buds. It went with the Cioppino which was the most amazing seafood dish you could have in your life. The peach hand pie for dessert was also hands one of the top three desserts I’ve had in my life. Service at The Water Street Kitchen is the epitome of true professionalism and desire to please the customer by any means necessary. The Water Street Kitchen is must see and eat for any foodie who desires excellence in food and service. The manager Chelsea is the shining joy that made the experience truly exceptional.

If I had to imagine a perfect restaurant it must be Water Street Kitchen, with no exceptions. I just hope that everything else on the menu that two of us couldn’t taste are as excellent as appetizers, entries, and deserts we had. From the ingredients to execution, presentation and service I had not a single moment below A+.

I have been here several times for dinner and have never had a bad meal. The staff is extremely friendly and professional, and the quality of food is excellent. While not inexpensive, the prices are reasonably. Definitely on the "fine dining" end of the spectrum of choices in the area. Reservations are a good idea, even off season, as this is a popular spot to eat.

Best seafood I ever had in my life. This little restaurant is an oasis in corporate USA restaurant culture. It's private, small, has no nasty air conditioning and very very good food. If you are European you will finally feel a bit like home - only better.

A Top Favorite! I am at times reticent to post a review of my favorite places to eat, especially if they offer a quiet, intimate setting with an incomparable view, exquisite food and exceptional service. However, I can't in good conscience really keep the Water Street Kitchen to myself. The owner and staff are so warm and welcoming--a rare treat these days; and the food so inventive and original that those who would appreciate such an experience should have it.We have made an annual trips to the Water Street Kitchen for a few years now -- at times going far out of our way just to have dinner -- and we have never been disappointed. We have even stayed in Woods Hole so we could eat there twice. So, I urge you: go early, go often. Try every dish. You won't be disappointed. We can't wait to return.
