I lost Bella May 3rd 2019, and have been, (2doggie jail) lol about 6 times in 2 weeks, I made some flyers to hand out in the area and when I went to the Atwater humane society looking for her, they have a binder they keep up front, they give you a lost pet slip to fill out and attach it to a photo if you have one.They check it everyday against animals that are are brought in or come into the shelter and I know they do because I brought a flyer and I usually check the binder up front and I still check and walk through looking at all the dogs and just kind of saying hi to them it's my own little silly thing I say hi to them and that they're their family will be coming for them soon and for them not to worry and I've showed it to workers there and people that are there looking at animals and a few times I've showed it to workers and they say yeah I saw her in the binder when I came in this morning and we haven't seen a dog that looks like her but we keep our eyes open and I was it made me feel really good because that's a pretty cool service that they have because any animals much safer at the humane society then on the street because they can get hit by a car specially cuz they're scared and even if you've taught them to stay out of the street when they're scared you know they're going to run through there and posting on pause and other places that I posted for my dog one person said that they thought my dog got hit by a car cuz they saw a black chihuahua male chihuahua get hit and I was like I'm sorry for that dog but my Chihuahua looks like a red fox and she's a female and then the next person posted that they saw on Yosemite boulevard in Merced a coyote running with a full grown cat hanging out of its mouth while you know that cat is he's not giving a cat a ride cuz the cat messed up his ankle or foot or something he's giving that cat a ride cuz he's going to eat it for dinner so if anybody out there you know I feel like I'm right now I put a shopping cart out front of my house trying to get blankets and things that I think that the humane societies could use food in stainless steel bowls to feed them in blankets and things. I believe they can use for other dogs because I feel like I need to do my part for other animals if I expect to get my dog back safely that's just a karma thing I believe in so yeah if anybody I think most of us that have an emotion right driving around with maybe a couple milk Bones are some cat food or something in their car and a leash in case we come across an animal that we need to pick up off the street and take it to the humane society so that animals will be safe and I'd like to thank all the workers at humane, and all human beings that take the time when they're at lunch from work or their driving to and from work that sea animals and try to rescue them and also post them because whether you have animals or not doesn't mean that somebody has to take the time to do that and that's really a very humane thing to do.
