Client Review on Midas Public Relations

I would not recommend Midas-PR for anyone seeking Marketing / PR services or any other type of services. Our company engaged with Midas PR in attempt to enhance our reach and credibility in our fields. In the agreement they guaranteed the following milestone: minimum of 10 media articles (online/offline) and 2 one-on-one video interview per month. 60% of which would be international Tier A media channels such as BBC, CNN, Forbes and many more including a wikipedia page as well. Our agreement was supposed to be for 4 months so the end results should be 40+ clippings (at least 24 of which are suppose to be from high level international media).However, after the first month gone by, the only things they did were:1) Press releases that they blasted off to many bottom level media sites with 0 backlink to our site. These sites are very shady would probably do more harm in PR than good. They shouldn't even be recognized as media since their traffic is non-existent and the way we were feature was so poorly presented . What’s worse is they attached their contact information to advertise their services on the back of our press releases. They value this at multi-million dollar worth of “PR value” so be very careful when they throw PR value numbers at you.2) A feature on Pattaya channel which is practically useless to us because our market is mostly US and European students. We’ve explicitly mentioned this fact to them before starting and they assured us before signing that all they will only count international media and not domestic Thai media as written on our agreement.Through all the process, they constantly misrepresented the information of our company. It was so clear they did not even know what our company does. We have to keep fixing their writing to a point that is more of a do-over.After the first month we were very unhappy of the results because they did not deliver anything that we agreed on. We didn’t make our payment on the second month as Tony (COO of Midas) told us before we signed the agreement we can stop paying them if they do not deliver on their milestones. We were even trying to compromise with them and they tried for a couple months more but they were not able to deliver a single thing after that. At the end they just gave up and said for the amount that we’ve paid they have already accomplished enough, which was nothing from what we’ve agreed. They blamed us that the reason why they can't do their job is that we didn't pay them enough. At the end we got so fed up and asked for our money back which the told us was an option but they disappeared and ignored our communication.If they have delivered at least 2 articles from a mid level international media with backlinks to our website, doesn’t have to be the top tier media that they promised, I probably would’ve been fine with it enough to not write this review.This is by far the worst business decision I’ve made to trust them. Not only we were out of pocket from the high fees they charged that brought 0 value to our company, but they were wasting so much our time in dealing with them, fixing their mistakes, compromising with them and hearing their excuses.Even after everything and we were so clearly unhappy, they later put our logos on their website. They even put both of our old and new logos even though it is the same company to show that they have many clients. They also put the logo of another company I invested in that never hired them for their services. This alone can show the level of trustworthiness you are dealing with. They’ve recently updated their client page and removed them for the very least.
